What is the Charts Window?

The Charts Window is where you can view one or more stock charts in a configurable manner.
These charts provide a graphical view of price activity for a stock over a user specified time period. The charts are located in main portion of the panel.

What type of Charts can I view?
The SogoTrade Trading Center Charts Panel provides you with three different charting choices.

The choices are:

  1. Basic Chart- basic chart of a single stock. You are able to view closing price and daily volume over a user specified time period.

  2. Interactive Chart- this chart is a basic line chart that has similar functionality as the Power Chart, including the ability to view/compare two stocks on the same chart.

  3. Power Chart - this chart allows for more user interaction and control of data points then the Basic chart.   The specific  functions of this chart are:
    • Identifying price points - you are able to mouse over price points on the chart and the date and stock price data is given.
    • Time period selection - you have the ability to view a specific time frame on the chart by dragging the time frame bar on the bottom portion of the chart.
    • Comparison Charts - You have the ability to view the chart of another stock along with your primary stock. This allows for easy side -by -side comparison of the two selected stock charts.

How Do I switch from one type of chart to another?

If you would like to view a different chart, you must go the Trade Settings page- General- Charting- Chart Type. Once there, you can choose the chart you would like to view by left clicking on the radio button of the desired chart. To apply the changes, Hit Apply, then OK.

How do I view and compare multiple stocks on one chart?

In the Power & Interactivet charting modes you can view two stocks on the same chart. To accomplish this, just type in the second stock you wish to view with your original stock in the Compare box located on the upper left hand side of the chart and click Add. If you no longer wish to view the comparison stock, just click in the check mark box to delete.
